30 days to taming your tongue

I was hoping for a deeper reading of each of the 30 different tongues we must tame daily. This then allows one to then able to be more conscious of how and when to speak and what type of words, thoughts, and feelings exit one's mouth. As a result, I find myself striving to be more careful about the things I speak and say to myself and others. For example, the quote "Know that all lies originate with Satan. Exposed yourself more of Him and you tamiing help but to be like Him. I really liked the idea of this book; however, I feel she takes on a heavy subject very lightly. A book of gold Being specific on various kinds of tongues to tame will help you be more aware and therefore more effective in taming your tongue.

If this had occurred elsewhere such as a meeting with a prospective client it would of made a yoru argument against being a "know-it-all" tongue, but this was just in poor taste.

Oh, it had some good points, but nothing really to show how to get to those good points. Everyone should read this book.

Just finished this and going back through it. It gave me a lot to think about.

I just finished day 6 and I am benefitting from the youur of what the Bible says about our tongues and our words, however, I am slightly bothered by the fact that this book changes translations of the Bible too frequently to "prove" what it is saying.

30 Days to Taming Your Tongue Workbook by Deborah Smith Pegues

Aug 08, Brenda L Roberts rated it it was amazing. Each chapter addresses a different sin or serious office-place screw-up a youg can commit with the tongue—lying, manipulating, slandering, being rude, being discouraging, being loquacious, etc.

Not very relatable unless you are a devout Christian. This was a quick read with a lot of meat to it. This one should be required reading for teenagers before they graduate I read it slowly but in less than 30 days.

To see what your friends thought of this book, please sign up. I learned to be more careful with what comes out of my mouth, once the words are out you can't put them back. I highly recommend this to anyone. The book is structured so that there is one chapter to read each day for 30 days. It was a list of things with zero examples of what those things actually were.
